The Favela project participants’ impressive progress was demonstrated by their outperforming regular users in terms of training completion, session engagement, and earnings potential. Before participating in the project, 40% of participants had a level below A1, while 42% were at A1. After 90 days with LetMeSpeak, the results of the lexical test show a significant improvement, with 60% of participants showing proficiency at an A2 level or higher. This correlation between LSTAR earned and improved lexical test scores proves that financial incentives can be a powerful motivator for students.
